How it all began...
Caring for children has always been more than a career for me — it’s a calling. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with little ones, to be a part of those early, important years when so much growth and discovery happens. I have truly been inspired by my mum, all throughout mine and my older brothers childhoods, she worked as a childminder (and still is!) - She really is super women, and watching her with children, made me feel nothing but happiness. She gave me the best childhood, and if I can sprinkle some of my happy memories and emotions that my mum gave me, I will always want to do that. Becoming a nursery manager has allowed me to combine my love for children with my passion for creating a warm, supportive environment where they can truly thrive. My mission is to lead with my heart, build meaningful relationships with families, and ensure every child in our care feels safe, valued, and deeply loved — just as they would at home.

I have always wanted to share this passion with my own team one day, and having many years of experience, now is my time. I am truly so excited for this journey.

Vision
Our vision is to create a safe, loving, and inspiring environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. As a team, we are dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families, and our team truly share a genuine passion for early years care. The goal is to nurture each child’s natural curiosity, support their individual growth and needs, and make sure every day is filled with warmth, discovery, and joy — just as childhood should be.
Inspiration
At our nursery, we embrace an approach inspired by the Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies—two child-centered educational methods that deeply respect the individuality, curiosity, and capability of every child. Our environment is carefully prepared to support independent exploration, hands-on learning, and meaningful play. Rooted in Montessori principles, our space is calm, inviting, and thoughtfully arranged with child-sized furniture and open-ended materials that encourage self-direction, practical life skills, and concentration.

From the Reggio Emilia approach, we take a strong emphasis on creativity, collaboration, and expressive learning. We see the environment as a “third teacher” and create opportunities for children to express themselves in many different ways—through art, movement, storytelling, and more. Learning is often project-based and led by the children's interests, allowing them to take ownership of their discoveries. We also value documenting each child’s journey to celebrate their growth and make learning visible.
By combining these two powerful approaches, our nursery offers a nurturing, respectful, and inspiring space where children are empowered to become confident, curious, and compassionate learners.

Maria Montessori (Montessori approach) and the Regio Emilia approach is not a single person, but originated in Italy - both inspire us, and we use these approaches in our daily practice.

Other inspiration we use in our day-to-day nursery life is some theorists. Some are as follows:
Piaget, Vygotski, Erikson.
